RIFLE/CARBINE GUNFIGHTING - ADVANCED LEVEL CLASS

Topics in this class include:

  • 1) Fundamentals of Rifle Marksmanship and Handling
  • 2) How to Zero Iron-Sighted Rifles
  • 3) Ammunition Selection and Handling Ammunition Malfunctions
  • 4) Range work quickly moves from Basic Marksmanship to Tactical Movement,
  •     Use of Cover, Various Firing Positions, Pivots and Turns,
  •     Use of the Safety Circle Concept
  • 5) Shooting Moving Targets, Firing on the Move, Multiple Threats
  • 6) Reloading under Stress
  • 7) Reduced Light Threat Identification and Firing
  • 8) Transitioning to Handgun

The course is 6 hours and the cost is $400.

Requirements:

  • Rifle or Semi-Auto Carbine (caliber .223 or larger) with a sling;
  • Handgun with Holster and minimum of 2 magazines w/ magazine pouch;
  • Eye & ear protection;
  • At least 2 rifle magazines with a capacity of 20 rounds or more;
  • 200+ rounds of rifle ammunition,
  • 50 rounds of handgun ammunition;
  • Waterproof ground cover for prone zeroing exercises.
