Short Course for Experienced Shooters Only
ABBREVIATED/SHORT FORM – STATE OF FLORIDA CONCEALED WEAPON PERMIT CLASS
This course meets & exceeds the requirements for the State of Florida Concealed Weapons Carry Permit for residents & non-residents.
You do not need to be a resident of Florida to qualify for this permit‚ people who travel find it to be the most comprehensive Concealed Weapon Carry Permit accepted – it’s now valid in the following 35 states (plus Florida): Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming.
OUTLINE: This is a SHORT course designed for the experienced shooter, interested in a thorough knowledge of the legal ramifications of owning and/or using a firearm defensively in the State of Florida, and for fulfilling their training obligation to apply for a Florida Concealed Weapon Carry Permit.
A knowledge of firearms IS required. This abbreviated course consists of shooting a qualifying course of fire, and a 2 hour lecture covering all the jurisprudence issues & ramifications of using a firearm defensively under current Florida statutes. Everything is explained fully so that the student feels completely comfortable.

3. Safety and responsibility by law of firearms around children
4. Restricted Carry Areas
5. Weapons Laws
6. Shoot/Don’t Shoot Scenarios/Use of Force and Justification
7. Escalation of Force
8. Interaction with Law Enforcement
and much, much more………this course addresses issues of concern to us all – which unless you’ve been involved in a justifiable defensive shooting you would not think of.
2 1/2 hour State of Florida Concealed Weapon Permit applicable law & firearms live-fire shooting class for experienced shooters is $150.
