This course meets & exceeds the requirements for the State of Florida Concealed Carry Permit “CWP” for residents & non-residents.*
You do not need to be a resident of Florida to qualify for this permit – people that travel find it to be the most comprehensive Concealed Carry Permit accepted as it’s accepted/valid in 35 states.
OUTLINE: This is the NRA’s First Steps Pistol course which is designed for the beginning shooter.
A knowledge of firearms is not assumed or required.
Each student progresses at their own pace.
Firearm basics and shooting techniques are covered in a 3 hour classroom setting. There is a 1-hour range session where the students will demonstrate firearm ability & safety by shooting 10 rounds with a semi automatic .22 caliber pistol and 10 rounds with a .22 caliber revolver. During the range exercise, hands-on instruction is provided to assure that the student learns the correct methods for firing a pistol with full observance of all safety rules.
