RIFLE/CARBINE GUNFIGHTING – ADVANCED LEVEL SHOOTING SKILLS CLASS

Topics in this class include:
1.  Review of Fundamentals of Rifle Marksmanship and Handling
2. Handling Ammunition Malfunctions
3. Range work quickly moves from Basic Marksmanship to Tactical Movement, Use of Cover, Various Firing Positions, Pivots and Turns, Use of the Safety Circle Concept
4. Shooting Moving Targets, Firing on the Move, Multiple Threats
5. Reloading under Stress
6. Weak side shooting
7. Transitioning to Handgun
8. Reduced Light Threat Identification and shooting drills

The course is 6 hours and the cost is $400.

Requirements: Eye & ear protection; brimmed baseball-style hat; carbine chambered in either 9mm, 45 ACP, 30 cal, 5.56 mm, 7.62 x 39mm; tactical sling (one or two point); Handgun with holster and minimum of 2 magazines w/ magazine pouch; 4 rifle magazines with 30 round capacity; carbine magazine pouch(s); 500 rounds of rifle ammunition; 100 rounds of handgun ammunition; Waterproof ground cover for prone zeroing exercises; knee and elbow pads (optional); water bottle or hydration device; and, an open mind.
