Basic Carbine

This is an entry level course for carbine shooters and is geared for those who have not had any formal instruction.

Topics include:

1. Safety
2. Stance and shooting positions
3. Zeroing for iron sights and optics
4. Sight alignment and trigger control
5. Presentation to target
6. Reloading
7. Field stripping and maintenance

Cost: $250 for 4 hours.

Requirements: Eye & ear protection; brimmed baseball-style hat; a serviceable carbine – typical calibers are 9mm, 45 ACP, 30 cal, 5.56 mm, 7.62 x 39mm  with a minimum of two magazines; tactical sling (one or two point); 300 rounds of ammunition; caliber correct cleaning kit; Knee and elbow pads (optional); water bottle or hydration device; and, an open mind.
